The third sector/social economy can be a source of growth, employment and innovation for the European Union but its potential has to be freed with appropriate incentives and social investments. This roundtable will explore innovative ways to fund the sector, bringing about pragmatic solutions through connecting third sector leaders and stakeholders and ensuring that the sector is in the driving seat of the European project starting with the framework of Europe 2020. Four case-studies will be presented and discussed:
- Social Innovation Park
- Charity Lottery
- Social Stock Exchange
- Social European Bank
The roundtable will be an interactive and stimulating event using case-studies and bringing together civil society leaders from across Europe, MEPs and European officials. The roundtable is by invitation only and will involve 30 people to ensure an open and productive discussion. This is a pilot event and if is successful we would like to replicate and widen the audience in the future. For further information on the event and to RSVP, please contact Mr. Filippo Addarii, filippo.addarii@euclidnetwork.eu or at +44 7939129249.
